Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a diesel mechanic showing ability to maintain, troubleshoot, and complete general repairs for diesel engines, heavy equipment, and machinery
High school diploma or equivalent
CDL Class A License a plus
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment; to meet deadlines and to work overtime when needed (work hours averaging 50-60 hours a week)
Physically able to climb up and down transloading equipment and ladders safely
Ability to walk, bend, stoop, climb, and maintain balance throughout the day
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions, including snow, rain, and sub-freezing temperatures
Good hearing and hand-eye coordination
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed
Work must be performed on-site at the Elwood facility
