Completion of an internal or external CAD/Detailing training program.
Minimum of five (5) years of structural steel detailing, checking, modeling, drafting, or related experience.
Demonstrated experience independently checking structural steel 3D models, fabrication drawings, erection drawings, and related detailing deliverables.
Experience reading and interpreting structural and architectural drawings, specifications, contract documents, and construction documentation.
Experience identifying detailing discrepancies, connection conflicts, constructability concerns, and potential fabrication or erection issues.
Experience utilizing 3D structural steel modeling and detailing software in a fabrication, construction, or engineering environment.
Strong attention to detail, technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to clearly communicate redlines, corrections, and technical information.
