3-5+ years of progressive experience in heavy civil construction surveying, model/design development, and machine-control data preparation
1-2 years of field surveying experience
Advanced proficiency in Trimble Business Center. (TBC)
Strong understanding of heavy civil construction sequencing across roadwork, drainage, utilities, and bridge disciplines
Strong understanding of DOT, COSA and SAWS specifications, standards and project requirements
Experience with survey data, field-to-office workflows, and machine-control systems
Understanding of State Plane Coordinate Systems, grid-to-ground relationships, geoid models, and combined scale factors
Proficiency with file formats including LandXML, DWG/DXF, CSV, KMZ, TTM and related formats
Proven ability to perform QA/QC on models, surfaces and construction data with strong attention to detail and accuracy
Experience with GPS, robotic total station, and machine-control systems
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced construction environment
Experience with Civil 3D (AutoCAD) and/or MicroStation/Open Roads. (Preferred)
Exposure to drone data, point clouds, or advanced modeling workflows. (Preferred)
Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrated ownership and accountability
