Minimum HS and/or technical school
3+ years in a job shop, industrial manufacturing, or industrial repair environment
Ability to read and interpret industrial drawings/blueprints, including tolerances and critical dimensions
Practical understanding of common machining processes (turning, milling, grinding, etc.) sufficient to plan routings and sequence operations
Working familiarity with common dimensional inspection tools (OD micrometers, ID micrometers, dial and vernier calipers) and an understanding of how critical dimensions are measured and verified
Direct experience supporting rotating equipment repair/overhaul (turbines, industrial pumps, compressors, gearboxes, or similar equipment)
Prior estimating experience in an industrial repair environment
Experience working within an ERP system
Knowledge of GD&T
Strong written and verbal communication skills
