Minimum of 5 years' field experience in electrical and instrumentation maintenance within a manufacturing environment.
HS Diploma or equivalent.
Strong working knowledge of electrical power distribution, MCCs, motors, drives, PLCs, DCS, and industrial instrumentation.
Hands-on experience troubleshooting I&E; equipment.
Solid knowledge of rotating equipment and mechanical maintenance practices.
Experience using maintenance management database systems, preferably Maximo.
Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, loop diagrams, P&IDs;, mechanical drawings, and OEM manuals.
Strong planning, organizational, and communication skills.
Well versed in maintenance and reliability planning, troubleshooting and problem-solving techniques, mechanical standards, budgeting process, and cost control.
Ability to respond appropriately during site emergencies as directed by site emergency manager.
Capable of evacuating manufacturing process areas in a timely manner in an emergency.
Able to wear and properly utilize appropriate personal protective equipment when working or visiting within the manufacturing process area.
Able to perform physical activities including walking in and around a manufacturing facility, climbing stairs, bending, stooping, kneeling, lifting 25 lbs., or reaching depending on work activity required.
Travel within Texas or around the United States for required training to perform job properly may be required.
A valid driver's license to operate plant vehicles if need arises.
Must be authorized to work in the US.
