Heavy Equipment Field Service Technician
The Service Technician is responsible for repairing and maintaining heavy equipment, conducting inspections, and providing remote troubleshooting support.
This role requires regular travel to customer sites, sometimes on short notice, to support emergency service needs.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical expertise, leadership ability, and a commitment to safety and quality.
The Service Technician will perform the following functions. Additional duties may be assigned as required:
Conduct incoming inspections for all rental equipment, including rope inspections using Scope equipment
Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on heavy equipment both on-site and in-house
Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems remotely and in person
Deliver equipment training and technical support to customers
Manage service records, parts inventory, and maintenance schedules using SAP and Verizon Connect
Travel to customer locations as needed, including emergency service calls
Perform visual inspections to ensure equipment aesthetics and presentation meet company standards
Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly work environment in compliance with housekeeping standards
Follow all departmental safety protocols and company compliance policies
Carry out additional duties as assigned by the supervisor or production management

One or more years of related experience with repair and maintenance of commercial equipment (preferably vending machines, market kiosks, and coffee equipment) or HVAC or Electrical/Plumbing experience.
Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally push/pull/lift/move up to 50 pounds.
