Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in quality control, quality inspection, manufacturing inspection, metal fabrication, or a similar industrial manufacturing environment.
Experience inspecting metal components, fabricated parts, assemblies, or similar manufactured products.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret basic blueprints, engineering drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Experience using basic precision measuring and inspection equipment such as calipers, micrometers, tape measures, squares, and other measurement tools.
Basic understanding of metal fabrication and manufacturing processes.
Ability to identify common dimensional, material, fabrication, and workmanship issues.
Basic math skills necessary to understand measurements, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.
Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify quality issues accurately and consistently.
Ability to accurately document inspection results and communicate quality concerns.
Ability to follow established quality procedures, production requirements, and safety standards.
