The incumbent must possess the ability to remain calm during site emergencies and respond appropriately as directed by the Site Emergency Director and be capable of evacuating the manufacturing process areas in a timely manner should an emergency arise
The incumbent must have the ability and willingness to work extended hours at a 24-hour, 365-day operation

Plans, schedules the efficient movement of material from the warehouse to shipments
Executes/coordinates shipping schedule while working in conjunction with the Shipping Foreman for the best use of personnel
Tenders' shipments in Transportation Management System
Creates and maintains the daily shipping schedule
Investigate issues that arise with carriers
Utilize 3rd party websites/email/phone to schedule customer preferred carriers
Prepares all export and domestic Bills of Lading in SAP
Post Goods Issues all shipments in SAP
